Book Talk – Kensington Town Hall
On Tuesday, November 12, I'll give an illustrated book talk to the Kensington Historical Society in the Town Hall, lower level, 3710 Mitchell St., Kensington, MD 20895. Commemorating the 75th anniversary of D-Day, the Invasion of Normandy, an evening book talk on Advocating Overlord to the New York Military Affairs Symposium (NYMAS). That so many of the soldiers, sailors, and airmen who participated in D-Day and the battles that followed departed from the Ports of New York and New Jersey makes this heart-of-Manhattan venue especially appropriate.
