Roosevelt Reading Festival

June 16, 2018

FREE

Recently published books about the lives and times of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt will be featured in talks by fifteen authors at the 15th annual, day-long Roosevelt Reading Festival.  I’m honored to be invited to give a talk on Advocating Overlord.  I’m scheduled to speak at 3:00 p.m., but I will be around most of the day to chat and sign books.  Fourteen authors in all will be presenting during this very interesting program.  The FDR Library and Museum is on the grounds of the Roosevelt Family’s beautiful estate where one of the book’s crucial meetings between FDR and Winston Churchill occurred in August 1943.  This also is where much of the research for Advocating Overlord was done.  So, going “back to school to give the book report” where this history happened 75 years ago should be great fun!
