I’ll give a talk aboard the now-104-year old, preserved battleship USS Texas at a time to be determined on August 4. Texas, which appears in the Prologue, Chapter 18, and the Epilogue of Advocating Overlord, escorted the fast convoy surge of troops across the Atlantic and had a special mission on D-Day in support of U.S. Army Rangers.  To speak on the book where it happened will be both an honor and a rare opportunity.
