CANCELED – Kensington Day of the Book
Gentle People,
With much regret, the April 26 Kensington Day of the Book festival had to be canceled to conform with the public health response to the COVID 19 pandemic. I was looking forward to having a table adjoining my best friend form college, Jim Lewis. Jim was coming from Pittsburgh with his cracking good mysteries. As the organizers had put a lot into the Day of the Book, cancellation was a great disappointment. However, without question, the need to do so was compelling. For a lot of reasons in the latter years before I retired, I became quite involved in epidemic and pandemic planning. This is serious stuff.
Good time to take a breath and settle in with a book. If you like mysteries, check out Jim Lewis’ website at: https://lewisthescrivener.com/
Please take care to be safe.
